Who: 9th-12th grade students, parents, high school counselors, and educators who want to explore college options outside of a four-year degree, including apprenticeship programs, certification programs, and two-year college degrees.
What: Learn about exciting career and technical programs offering a unique opportunity to pursue your career aspirations early on through hands-on training and real-world job experiences. In this seminar, we will explore options for you to confidently navigate your path after high school graduation.
Where: Virtual.

2-Year College Programs: Consider a broad selection of professionalized coursework from culinary arts to automobile mechanics offered by local community colleges. Earn a low cost two-year associate degree and embark on your career journey or consider transferring into a four-year program at a nearby university.

Certification Programs: Choose a certification program in the field of your interest to get specialized training and gain the skills and knowledge needed for your desired future career. Certification could be your essential career-building tool as it demonstrates your expertise and competence to potential employers, who often use these credentials as selection criteria for hiring.

Apprenticeships: Explore careers in construction, manufacturing, hospitality, or transportation with apprenticeships, combining on-the-job training and classroom education. Earn income while gaining skills alongside professionals, and network with potential employers to showcase your talents.
