Why College?
Continuing education after high school leads to countless benefits. Students with a college degree report better life satisfaction, longer life expectancy, greater lifetime earnings, and lower unemployment rates than their peers without a degree. The New York Times reports that "college graduates earn $1 million more over their lifetime than those with a high school degree."
Not only will students be better off with a college degree, but our communities will be better off as well. A college degree creates educated workers, family members, and citizens for their respective communities. While choosing education after high school may be a large task, it is often the best investment a family can make in their student.
