To Parking via Glenwood Springs
Take I-70 West to Glenwood Springs and take EXIT 116. Take right at 1st light and right at Grand Avenue/CO-82 over bridge. For Buttermilk: Stay on this road until the intersection of Owl Creek Road and 38700 CO-82. Turn left at the light. For the Music Tent: Follow 82 to North 7th Street. Continue on 7th Street. Take Gillespie Avenue to North 3rd Street.
To Parking via Independence Pass
From I-70, merge onto CO-91 S via EXIT 195 toward Copper Mountain/Leadville. CO-91 S becomes US-24. Turn left onto HARRISON AVENUE/US-24. Continue through Leadville on US-24 and turn right onto CO-82 which will take you 32 miles to Aspen. For Buttermilk parking: Take a right on CO-82/ORIGINAL CURVE/MAIN STREET through the town of Aspen. Continue on CO-82 until you reach the intersection of Owl Creek Road and 38700 CO-82, and turn left at the traffic light. For Music Tent parking: Take a right on CO-82/ORIGINAL CURVE/MAIN STREET through the town of Aspen. In .4 miles, turn right onto North 3rd Street, then left onto Gillepsie Ave, then right onto North 3rd Street. The Benedict Music Tent is on 960 N 3rd St, Aspen, CO 81611.
Event Parking for Students and Parents
Parking will be available at the Buttermilk Parking Lot (38700 CO-82) and at the Benedict Music Tent (960 N 3rd St). Free school bus shuttles will be provided every 10 minutes to take you to Aspen High School and return you to your car after the Fair. Shuttle buses will run continuously throughout the event.

Please note that parking is unavailable on the Aspen School District campus. Do not park on Maroon Creek Road (which leads up to the schools) as you may be ticketed and possibly towed. Parking will not be available at the Aspen Recreation Center (ARC) across the street from Aspen High School. RFTA Free Bus

All points in Aspen can be reached using the RFTA bus system. Within the City of Aspen and Snowmass Village bus fare is free.

To get to Aspen High School/Western Slope College Fair, you will take the RFTA bus Castle Maroon Route 3.
HIGH SCHOOL COUNSELORS
Drop off at Aspen School District
Drop off at Aspen High School is available for school vehicles whose transportation is coordinated and accompanied by a high school counselor that registered with CWS College Outreach in advance. To confirm transportation, please email co@cwscollegeoutreach.org.
*High School Counselors: Advise students that are coming to the Fair but not traveling with you that parking is available at Buttermilk parking lot and Benedict Music Tent only.
To Aspen School District via Glenwood Springs

Enter the Aspen roundabout and take the 1ST EXIT onto Maroon Creek Road. Take the first left into the first Aspen Public Schools’ parking lot. Park and proceed to the entrance to Aspen High School.

Parking Logistics for High School Students
Parking will be available at the Buttermilk parking lot and the Benedict Music Tent. Buttermilk is located on 38700 Highway 82, at the intersection of Owl Creek Road and CO-82. Free school bus shuttles will be provided every 10 minutes to take you to Aspen High School, and to return you to your car after the Fair. Shuttle buses will run continuously throughout the day.

To Aspen School District from Denver via Glenwood Springs
198 Miles, 4 hours

Take I-70 West to Glenwood Springs and take EXIT 116. Turn right at 1stlight and right at Grand Avenue/CO-82 over bridge. Stay on this road for the next 42 miles. Enter the Aspen roundabout and take the 1st exit on right onto Maroon Creek Road.

Option 1 – Take the second left onto Moore Drive (approximately 1 mile from roundabout, immediately after pedestrian bridge). At stop sign, make a left, parking lot on left side. Park and proceed to the entrance of Aspen High School. Parking is limited. If there is no parking available, proceed to Option 2.

Option 2 – Take the first left into the first Aspen Public Schools’ parking lot (approximately 1/4 mile from roundabout). Park and proceed to the entrance of Aspen High School. If you are turning around from Option 1, exit high school parking lot, make a right on Moore Drive, make a right onto Maroon Creek Road, travel approximately ¾ mile and take first right into the Aspen Public School parking lot.
To Aspen School District from Denver via Independence Pass
197 Miles, 3.5 hours
*This route has stunning views and is paved but travels over a very steep mountain pass. It is for the adventurous driver and better during daylight hours.

Continue through Leadville on US-24 and turn right onto CO-82 which will take you 32 miles to Aspen. Take a right on CO-82/ORIGINAL CURVE/MAIN STREET through the town of Aspen. Enter the roundabout and take the 2nd exit onto Maroon Creek Road. See Options 1 & 2 above. Park and proceed to the entrance of Aspen High School.
